STONEWASH

Grainy and highly textured,
this technique captures the
essence of Mother Nature,
gently etching herself into
her subjects.

RECIPE

Step One: Dillute Texturline Carolina Sandstone with a small amount of water to the consistency of paint.

Step Two: Roll the mixture onto the surface. Once it has begun to dry, take a large trowel and knock the stipple down. Allow to dry overnight.

Step Three: Dilute a small amount of the Texturline Sandstone powder pigments with water. In this case, Raw Umber and Black have been used.

Step Four: Use a damp cellulose sponge to scrub the color into the surface. When dry, use a clean sponge to remove most of the color.

Step Five: Apply at least one coat of Texturline Zero Gloss Varnish to the surface.
