FRESCO
J's Designs - Faux Fresco

Fresco is a fun way to make walls look like old plaster walls instantly.

RECIPE

Step One: Apply two coats of Ralph Lauren Acrylic Satin finish tinted to #WH01D Tennis Court White. Let paint dry for several hours.

Step Two: Apply either Polyvine Crackle Medium, or Ralph Lauren Crackle Medium in random patches For larger cracks, apply two coats of crackle medium. Use a roller for even, circular cracks. Use a brush for long, wood cracks. Allow to dry for one hour or as per directions.

Step Three: Apply drywall compound using a metal spatula. To remove unwanted trowel marks, dab them with a moistened sea sponge. Cover 90% of the surface and allow to dry completely. The cracks begin to form as the drywall compound dries.

Step Four: Rub the crackled surface with Pratt and Lambert Latex Glaze tinted to #2081 Ginger Whip(75% of the surface) and #2257 Shadow Beige (20% of the surface), and Ralph Lauren Aging and Technique Glaze tinted to Tea Stain (50% of surface).

Step Five: Stand back and Admire!
